Janice Escott is the owner of Unity Books and Stuff and is affiliated with Unity Spiritual Center currently meeting on Hamlet’s Chapel Road at Triangle Training Center. She is Vice President of the Board of Trustees and has been a member of Unity Church since 1988.
Most of her life she has been a teacher and culinary professional, trained at Le Cordon Bleu in London. She has been a member of International Association of Culinary Professionals for many years, and an owner of a retail cookware store and cooking school in California, as well as a daily, talk radio host of a food show. You may remember her as teacher and chef at A Southern Season Cooking School when they opened the school a few years ago.
Janice lives in Pittsboro, North Carolina with her daughter, Katy O’Leary, Katy’s husband Rishi (both of Castle Creek Realty), and grandson, Nicholas O’Leary.
Katy is also Janice’s partner in Unity Books and Stuff and instrumental in the establishment of the Espresso Brazil, now open in the back of Unity Books and Stuff. Katy is an honors graduate of UNC in Latin American Studies and speaks Portuguese, hence Espresso Brazil!! Rishi is an IT guru & maintains this fabulous website!! Nick is famous for his basketball and piano talents!! |
